MLTR ingin makan di angkringan Yogyakarta

Jakarta - Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) rupanya penasaran dengan makanan tradisional Indonesia. Buktiknya, saat konser di Yogyakarta, MLTR minta makan angkringan.

"Mereka maunya nanti di Yogyakarta ada waktu kosong sehari terus mau makan di angkringan, bukan di restoran," ungkap Anas Syahrul Alimi, CEO Rajawali Indonesia saat jumpa pers Konser MLTR di Hotel Menara Peninsula, Jakarta Barat, Selasa (27/11).

Bukan itu saja, setelah konser di Kota Gudeg, MLTR yang akan melanjutkan konser di Surabaya juga meminta untuk naik bus dan mampir ke Masjid Agung Demak.
"Dari Yogya ke Surabaya mereka juga maunya naik bus supaya bisa ke Masjid Demak sekalian wisata," tambah Anas.

Meski permintaan band yang beranggotakan Jascha Richter (vokal), Kare Wanscher (drum) dan Mikkel Lentz itu cukup aneh, namun promotor tidak merasa kerepotan. Mereka justru menyambut baik guna kerjasama dengan MLTR selanjutnya.
"Nggak merepotkan kok selama ini pihak MLTR juga bisa bekerja sama dengan baik," tuturnya.

Carly Rae Jepsen kalahkan One Direction di AMA

Jakarta - Penyanyi Carly Rae Jepsen meraih penghargaan kategori Artis Pendatang Baru di American Music Awards (AMA) pada Minggu (18/11), mengalahkan nominasi yang lain termasuk boyband Inggris, One Direction.

"Astaga, terima kasih banyak untuk para penggemar. Saya terpana," kata penyanyi berusia 26 tahun itu saat menerima penghargaan yang diserahkan oleh Backstreet Boys.

"Wow. Saya harus berterima kasih untuk Jimmy Iovine dan semua yang ada di Interscope...Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber, semua orang di Schoolboy Records. Keluarga saya, teman-teman saya, pacar saya...Ini luar biasa. Terima kasih banyak! Wow," katanya, seperti yang ditulis Digital Spy.

Penghargaan itu merupakan trofi AMA pertama bagi Carly, yang bersaing dengan One Direction, Gotye, J.Cole, dan Fun di ajang tersebut.

Sejarah MLTR

 

Sebagai referensi musik, Michael Learns To Rock adalah merupakan sebuah group musik asal Denmark, yang awalnya merupakan sebuah band SMA di Aarhus, Denmark yang didirikan sekitar tahun 1987. Ide pendirian bandnya sendiri berawal dari Jascha Richter (keyboardist & vocal), yang kemudian mengajak dua orang temannya, Kare Wanscher (drummer), dan Nikkel Lentz (guitarist) untuk membentuk sebuah band Café.

Untuk referensi tambahan, pada musim semi di tahun 1988, Soren Madsen bergabung dengan mereka sebagai bassist. Maka sejak saat itulah mereka sepakat memakai nama Michael Learns To Rock.

Setelah bolak balik manggung di berbagai tempat selama 2 tahun, akhirnya di bulan September 1991, Michael learns To Rock merilis album debut pertama mereka berjudul “Michael Learns To Rock” sama dengan nama band mereka. Album tersebut berhasil melejitkan hits “The Actor” lagu ini sendiri berhasil membawa mereka merajai tangga – tangga lagu, bukan hanya di Denmark saja bahkan hingga ke Norwegia, Swedia, Indonesia, Malaysia, singapura, dan juga Philipina.

Bulan Oktober 1993, Michael Learns To Rock merilis album ke – 2 bertitle “Colour” yang melejitkan lagu “Sleeping Child”, “25 Minutes” dan “Out of The Blue”. Album kedua Michael Learns To Rock rupanya banyak digandrungi pencinta musik pop terbukti berkat album tersebut mereka berhasil memperoleh banyak penghargaan, diantaranya RSH Award dari Jerman, dan SEA Grammy Award dari Singapura. Bahkan mereka dinobatkan sebagai “The Best Performing Act of The Year” atau band berpenampilan terbaik.

Di tahun 1995, Michael Learns To Rock kembali merilis album ke -3 “Played on Pepper” yang menjagokan hits “That’s Why You Go Away” dan “Someday” yang video clipnya dibikin di bali.

Dalam usaha memerangi pembajakan yang semakin marak, Michael Learns To Rock kembali merilis album The Best Album “Paint My Love’ yang membuat mereka semakin dikenal di Korea, Thailand hingga Afrika Selatan.

Di bulan September 1997, Michael learns To Rock merilis album keempat “Nothing To Lose”. Setelah vakum selama satu tahun, di tahun 1998, Jascha Richter dkk, merilis album Greatest hits yang memuat lagu – lagu terbaik mereka ditambah satu lagu baru berjudul “Strange Foreign Beauty”

Tahun 2000, rupanya menjadi tahun yang kurang menggembirakan bagi Michael Learns To Rock, pasalnya Soren Madsen, bassist mereka cabut dari MLTR untuk bersolo karir. Meskipun hanya tinggal bertiga, Michael Learns To Rock masih mampu menelorkan album “Blue Night” yang ternyata cukup sukses di pasaran dan banyak mendapatkan penghargaan platinum bahkan nama mereka semakin berkibar di Asia.

Resep langgeng MLTR

Jakarta - 24 tahun terbentuk, Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) mengungkapkan rahasia mereka tetap eksis di dunia musik.

"Mutual respect," kata drummer Kare Wanscher.

Menurut dia, penting untuk saling menghormati antaranggota dan perbedaan yang dimiliki.

"Kami kan sudah tidak muda lagi," katanya saat jumpa media di Jakarta.

Ia juga menekankan pentingnya mengembangkan ide bermusik dan bertemu dengan orang-orang baru.

"Kami berkembang bersama," kata Wanscher.

Ketika ditanya mengenai album terbaru mereka, "Scandinavia" yang dirilis tahun ini, vokalis Jascha Richter mengatakan tidak ada perubahan gaya bermusik.

Wanscher membenarkan hal tersebut, meski mereka mencoba hal-hal baru, mereka tetap membawakannya dengan gaya mereka.

"Tidak ada 'Gangnam Style' di album kami," candanya.

MLTR konser di tiga kota

Jakarta - Band asal Denmark Michael Learns To Rock atau yang biasa disebut MLTR akan menggelar konser di tiga kota di Indonesia: Balikpapan, Yogyakarta, dan Surabaya.

"Kali ini kami bawa band fenomenal MLTR tur di tiga kota. Untuk tanggal 29 November di Balikpapan, 1 Desember di Yogyakarta, dan 4 Desember," kata Anas Syahrul Alimi, CEO Rajawali Indonesia yang bekerja sama dengan Starlight Enterprise dalam penyelenggaraan konser ini.

Anas melewatkan Jakarta dalam konser MLTR kali ini karena ibukota sudah dipadati konser.

"Mungkin terlalu banyak konser jadi kita coba bikin di tiga kota lain," katanya.

Menurutnya, penggemar di Jakarta lari ke Yogyakarta untuk menonton band yang populer dengan lagu "The Actor".

"Indonesia sangat berarti bagi kami. 20 tahun yang lalu kami merilis 'The Actor', Indonesia temasuk yang pertama memutar lagu kami dan mendapat sambutan baik, " kata penggebuk drum Kare Wanscher.

Wanscher mengaku sangat senang dapat kembali lagi ke Indonesia dan mengunjungi Balikpapan, kota yang belum pernah mereka datangi.

"Ingin penonton dapat bernyanyi bersama kami," tuturnya.

Dalam tur mereka, gitaris Mikkel Lentz menyatakan akan membawakan empat lagu dari album terbaru mereka, "Scandinavian".

Konser kali ini diperkirakan akan berdurasi satu setengah jam atau lebih.

"Kami suka tampil di panggung," kata Wanscher.

Pihak promotor membandrol kelas festival A seharga Rp 350.000, festival B Rp 500.000, dan VIP Rp 1,5 juta untuk konser di Yogyakarta dan Surabaya.

Guardiola Tak Cocok untuk Tim Samba

Penjualan Album Taylor Swift Kalah Telak Dengan One Direction

One Direction sekali membuktikan bahwa mereka bukan fenomena musiman. Sukses di album pertama, kali ini mereka mengulanginya di langkah selanjutnya lewat TAKE ME HOME. Album ini berdiri kokoh di puncak Billboard 200.
Menurut Billboard, Album One Direction telah terjual hingga 540.000 keping dalam sepekan. Hasil ini jauh melampaui Taylor Swift dengan album RED yang 'hanya' terjual 145.000 keping di pekan yang sama.

Album One Direction Raih Platinum di Indonesia

Ketika One Direction merilis album terbarunya TAKE ME HOME pada 12 November 2012, banyak yang sudah memprediksikan bahwa album ini akan meraih sukses serupa dengan album sebelumnya. Single Solo Mayu Watanabe Puncaki Oricon Weekly Charts Untuk Pertama Kalinya

Single solo ke-3 milik anggota grup idol Jepang AKB48, Mayu Watanabe yang berjudul Hikari Monotachi (rilis 21 November) telah terjual 92.000 kopi dalam minggu pertama dan berhasil meraih posisi puncak Oricon Weekly Charts untuk minggu 3 Desember. Ini adalah kali pertama single Mayuyu berhasil memuncaki tangga lagu tersebut sejak ia melakukan debut solonya pada bulan Februari.

Mayuyu disebut-sebut sebagai salah satu kandidat menjadi ace berikutnya setelah berhasil menyabet tempat ke-2 di AKB48 General Elections yang baru-baru ini digelar. Single miliknya sebelumnya, Synchro Tokimeki (rilis bulan Februari) dan Otona Jelly Beans (rilis bulan Juli), masing-masing berhasil meraih posisi ke-2 dan ke-3 di Oricon Weekly Charts.

Cleo memutuskan untuk grad?

 

Kabar mengejutkan kembali muncul di dunia peridolan JKT48. Sabtu dini hari (24/11) Cleopatra Japri atau yang akrab disapa Cleo JKT48 salah seorang member generasi pertama JKT48 memutuskan untuk mengakhiri kariernya. Keputusan tersebut disampaikan melalui akun twitter @cleoJKT48, namun telah dihapus kurang dari 1 jam. 

 

 

 

 

 

Beberapa fans menyampaikan kekagetannya melalui akun jejaring sosial media twitter. Namun tidak lama, tweet pengunduran diri Cleo dihapus.Hingga berita ini diturunkan, belum ada rilis resmi dari Jakarta Operations Team (JOT) yang menjadi manajemen JKT48. Para fans masih menunggu alasan Cleo memutuskan untuk mengahiri kariernya bersama idol group JKT48.

Sony Masuk Tiga Besar Pasar Smartphone Dunia

Produsen smartphone asal Jepang, Sony Mobile, membuat kejutan dengan menempati peringkat tiga di penjualan smartphone dunia. Sony hanya tertinggal dari Samsung dan Apple yang masih menguasai daftar penjualan smartphone versi perusahaan riset IDC.

Sony naik tiga peringkat dari posisi 6 yang didapat tahun lalu. Tapi berdasarkan data year-on-year, Sony mengalami penurunan. Di kuartal tiga tahun ini Sony menguasai 4,8 persen pasar smartphone, jatuh dari angka 5 persen tahun lalu.

Naiknya peringkat Sony disebabkan merosotnya produsen smartphone lain, seperti HTC, Nokia, dan Research in Motion. Nokia tercatat jatuh secara dramatis dari angka 13,6 persen pangsa pasar tahun lalu menjadi 3,4 persen di tahun ini.

Sedangkan HTC jatuh dari 10,3 persen ke angka 4,6 persen tahun ini. Dengan merosotnya popularitas BlackBerry, pangsa pasar RIM pun jatuh dari 9,6 persen di tahun lalu ke angka 4,2 persen tahun ini.

Sedangkan Samsung menjadi pemuncak pasar smartphone dengan pangsa pasar 31,3 persen. Angka ini naik dari yang diraih Samsung tahun lalu, yang sebesar 22,7 persen.

Pangsa pasar Apple pun naik dari 13,8 persen tahun lalu menjadi 14,6 persen di 2012.

Di sini juga terdapat banyak tempat-tempat wisata yang menarik lainnya seperti Petronas Philharmonic Hall tempat pertunjukan acara musik klasik hingga jazz, Petrosains Science Centre, Petronas Art Gallery dan Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, dimana terdapat The Aquaria Oceanarium.

2. Sunway Lagoon
Hampir sama dengan waterbom yang marak di Indonesia, Sunway Lagoon memang paling pas dikunjungi bersama keluarga. Di dalamnya terdapat enam kawasan bermain, mulai dari, Water Park, dimana aneka permainan air dapat ditemui disini, mulai dari seluncuran, kolam ombak raksasa yang membuat Anda merasakan selancar seperti di pantai, lalu Amusement Park, kawasan ini mirip dengan Dunia Fantasi di Ancol. Berjenis-jenis wahana bermain dari yang menyenangkan sampai yang menegangkan menanti Anda disini.

Extreme Park, kawasan ini seperti arena outbound. Ada permainan ATV offroad, flying fox, paintball, dan masih banyak lagi permainan adventure yang akan memacu adrenalin Anda. Wildlife Park, di sini Anda dapat mengajak keluarga untuk melihat kehidupan binatang-binatang di alamnya.

Selanjutnya, ada juga Scream Park, untuk Anda yang senang adu nyali pasti tertantang untuk mampir ke tempat ini. Rumah hantu yang sarat dengan teknologi tinggi akan membuat Anda merinding.

3. Batu Caves
Berada di atas bukit berjarak 15 km dari bagian utara Kuala Lumpur, merupakan sebuah daya tarik bagi para wisatawan yang sangat terkenal di Selangor. Batu Caves terdiri dari tiga buah gua besar, termasuk gua utama yang terdapat kuil Hindu yang dihiasi dengan ukiran halus. Salah satu pengalaman menarik di Batu Caves ialah pendakian 272 anak tangga menuju ke ruang gua utama.

Berdampingan dengan gua utama ialah Gua Ramayana dimana dinding di dalamnya terlukis gambaran-gambaran kisah mitos epik India. Bukit batu kapur ini juga merupakan tempat populer untuk kegiatan memanjat tebing batu.

4. Genting
Membutuhkan waktu kurang lebih 1,5 jam dengan bus, kawasan yang cukup jauh dari Kuala Lumpur . Selain kawasannya yang sangat dingin dan sejuk, daya tarik launnya adalah disini terdapat Genting Sky Venture, satu-satunya fasilitas yang memberikan pengalaman terjun payung di Asia.

Lalu ada juga Genting X-pedition Wall, merupakan sebuah tembok pendakian bertaraf internasional setinggi 15 meter dengan tebing menjuntai sepanjang enam meter. Selain itu terdapat fasilitas bermain bowling, Cineplex dan macam-macam permainan yang sangat menarik.

5. Eye on Malaysia
Kincir raksasa yang mencapai ketinggian 60 meter ini terletak di samping danau Titiwangsa ini memiliki 42 buah kapsul, dan dengan naik kincir ini Anda dapat menikmati pemandangan kota Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Kincir ini dilengkapi pendingin udara, jadi bagi Anda yang berkesempatan naik kincir ini di siang hari tidak perlu takut akan kepanasan. Bagi Anda yang ingin naik, harus merogoh kocek sebesar RM15 atau sekitar 45 ribu.
